Dealer scope of work is as follows

The dealer is responsible for the following:

  • Providing 2 days of assistance with the pool installation.

  • The homeowner will pay a $2,000 per day fee if the hole is not ready for the pool (see Homeowner Scope of Work below).

  • Assisting with the setting, backfilling, and removal of the pool from transport. (The dealer will not provide the machine to remove the shell but will provide rigging equipment.)
  • Plumbing: We will plumb the pool to the system in the trench the homeowner prepared. We will provide all the necessary parts. (The system should be no more than 30 feet from the pool, or additional charges may apply.)

  • System: We will provide all parts listed in the proposal for the pool system. (The dealer’s warranty on the pool shell and equipment will be maintained as part of the installation.)

  • Assisting with permitting in the homeowner’s area if needed.
  • Providing instructions and a dig sheet to ensure the pool is installed correctly.

Homeowner scope of work

The homeowner is responsible for the following:

  • Thoroughly review the Imagine Pools installation manual (provided separately) to understand the installation process.
  • Coordinating the project timeline with the dealer, including a pre-construction meeting four weeks before installation.
  • Providing a crane or excavator to unload the pool from the delivery vehicle.
  • Providing an excavator and an operator to dig the pool hole to the specified dimensions.
  • Ensuring the hole base is level and filled with 4 inches of 1/2-inch limestone chips (approximately 30 tons).
  • Providing approximately 50 tons of 1/2-inch limestone for backfilling.
  • Providing machinery and an operator to assist with backfilling under the guidance of the dealer.
  • Providing the following for electric:

    • All electrical wiring runs to the equipment pad.
    • The wiring is connected the day after the pool is placed in the hole.
    • The pool and equipment bonded according to local code, including the bonding “halo” around the pool.
  • Providing a gas line to be run to the equipment pad for a pool heater (if needed).
  • Providing a trench from the pool hole to the equipment pad for electrical and plumbing lines.
  • Constructing the pool deck and bonding beam.
