The electric work is not included in the pool contract. Budget approximately $5,000 to $6,000 for electrical work, though this can vary depending on your specific needs (new panels, auto covers, heat pumps, etc.).
If you choose to hire your own electrician, there are items to consider for safety. #8 grounding/bonding wire (halo) that needs to surround the pool border and connect to any metal, handrail, or rails for auto cover. The homeowner is responsible for making sure that the hired electrician is available by Thursday of the installation week to avoid delays and potential additional charges. If your electrician is not timely and prevents us from completing your project in the expected timeframe, we will request final payment early.
